I have received his bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering from Shiraz University, Iran, and my PhD in Computer Science from National University of Singapore. During his PhD, I brought several findings from psychological studies of face perception, together with the computer vision techniques, to develop the first non-verbal method for eyewitness testimony. In my proposed method, instead of describing a face, and eyewitness draws the face, and then based on his/her drawing profile, the best possible estimation of the original face is calculated. The process of estimating the originally viewed face accounts for individual face perception and drawing style biases.

I am now working as a postdoc at Singapore University of Technology and Design, to use psychological findings for aiding elderly, using technology.
