The aim of this project is to create new computational methodologies for shape analysis, data visualization, computational design, geometric modeling, computer graphics and 3D printing. We will develop new theory, algorithms and software to create artifacts that are simultaneously manufacturable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. We will also create computational design tools that have functional interfaces appropriate for various constituencies.
