Khai is currently a PhD student in the Singapore University of Technology and Design under the supervision of Prof. Tony Quek.
He received his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics (specializing in Telecommunication) from Ho Chi Minh University of Technology (Vietnamese: Đại học Bách Khoa Tp. Hồ Chí Minh), Vietnam, 2014. From the early to late 2015, Khai had worked as a research assistant at SUTD.
His current research interests are caching in content centric network, optimization in networking, signal processing and resource allocation.

2010-2014 – B.E in Electrical and Electronics (specializing in Telecommunication) at Ho Chi Minh University of Technology.
2013 – Internship in Southern Power Information Technology Co., Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
