Abstract

Photometric stereo is a technique in computer vision for estimating the surface normals of objects by observing that object under different lighting conditions. In this talk, I will give a brief review to tradiational photometric stereo method and our ongoing PS database project.

About The Speaker

Mo Zhipeng is currently a PhD student in Information Systems Technology and Design at Singapore University of Technology and Design. He obtained bachelor’s degree from Tianjin University(TJU) in software engineering in 2014.

Zhipeng’s research interests are mainly on computer vison and computer graphics.
