Python is one of the most popular programming languages today, with many applications in computing, engineering, data science and artificial intelligence.

Participants spent 2.5 hours of their weekend under the guidance of our ISTD faculty, Dr. Malika Meghjani, Dr. Norman Lee, Dr Natalie Agus and students, learning and understanding the concept of coding, basic python programming and computing concepts such as selection and loops.

At the end of the workshop, participants were able to apply what they had learnt to draw basic shapes like squares, polygons and arcs, and even touched on more complex shapes and patterns. To enhance the flavour of this workshop, participants engaged in a friendly competition where they compete with one another on their coding artwork where they stand to win exciting Grab Food vouchers.
