Prof Quek and his PhD student, Dr Thinh Quang Dinh, who graduated in January this year were selected as the winners of the IEEE Communications Society Stephen O. Rice Prize for their excellent paper “Offloading in Mobile Edge Computing: Task Allocation and Computational Frequency Scaling”, IEEE Transactions on Communications, Vol. 65, No. 8, pp. 3571-3584, August 2017.
