Congratulations to Associate Professor Lu Wei for receiving “Area Chair Award” at Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL) 2023, for his paper titled “Tell2Design: A Dataset for Language-Guided Floor Plan Generation”. Associate Professor Lu Wei is the Co-PI of the overall project. The work is about generating floor plans from natural language descriptions, and is a joint work with NUS, A*STAR, and Associate Professor Sam Conrad Joyce from SUTD ASD Pillar.
ACL is the best conference in NLP, and only top 1.6% papers submitted were nominated for award. This award is under the area “Resources and Evaluation”, and only one paper received the award for this area (1/236 submissions to this area: top 0.4%).
