Speaker’s Biography

Delaney Ng
Senior Project Officer

Ministry of Defence (MINDEF)

Delaney is currently deployed in the Cyber Security Project Office (CSPO) as a Senior Project Officer. His current role involves planning, strategising as well as operationalising cyber defence capabilities in MINDEF and the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). He has been actively involved in IT and cyber security work for MINDEF/SAF ever since he joined the Military Security Department in 2004, and was responsible for the 24×7 security operations centre which conducts cyber defence operations to ensure the security of MINDEF/SAF systems and networks.

Delaney graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and also has a Master in Computing (Information Security) from NUS. He possesses several professional cyber security certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP).
