In this workshop/talk, our distinguished guests Lee Gui An, Assoc. Cybersecurity Specialist; Kwok Shun Git, Assoc. Software Engineer will be going through the use of linting, code hygiene standards, and communication for engineers, both written and spoken; this will be followed by a short Q/A session at the end for students to ask questions about life in Govtech or the software industry in general.
By the end of this workshop, participants should have working knowledge of linting their code for common improper structures, have a working understanding of what makes maintainable code, and conceptually understand the objectives of communication and the necessary decorum for communication.
