Abstract

This session will discuss how a Design Thinking approach will bring about innovative and disruptive solutions in light of the emergence of 5G, IOT, AI and Big Data. How is Design Thinking relevant and transformative to bring about solutions that are human-centred and not technology-centric? Use-case examples from Japan, Europe, US, and Singapore will be used to illustrate the emerging new landscape of change.

He is the domain expert for Human-Centred Design Thinking, explainable AI Ethics and Governance, National Digital ID for Smart Nations, and next generation no-code Enterprise Information Management solutions at NEC Asia Pacific.

Walter is a Business Mentor at NUS, holds a MBA from the Golden Gate University of San Francisco, USA and was the CEO of e-Cop Group of Companies, and Senior Vice President and Head of Technology Transfer Network, at A*STAR Singapore.
