Abstract
There’s more to production quality ML models beyond just the features and the model. Integrating complex ML to products brings technical demands and challenges that, unless well managed, can threaten the success of the project. In this talk, Cipta will share some lessons learned from real world projects around the necessary considerations and tools required to support a production ML model, as well as communication with stakeholders and product managers.

Cipta leads consumer facing projects within the Google Pay ML team as a Senior Software Engineer. He focuses on improving end user experience within the Google Pay product using data science and ML techniques. During his 9 year tenure at Google, he has worked in other teams within Google on various domains including Ads frontend, backend, and serving stacks. Cipta earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with an Artificial Intelligence concentration from Columbia University, and a master’s degree in Data Science from New York University.
